+ If I need to cancel or reschedule an appointment, will I be charged a fee?
We understand that there are unexpected life circumstances where you need to reschedule or even cancel a visit. Unlike other cleaning companies we do not charge a cancelation fee.
+ Do I need to be home during the cleaning?
That is entirely up to you, the client. Some clients choose to be home, others give us a key or maybe greet us at the door and then go out to run errands. Whatever you are comfortable with is what works for us!
+ What should I do to prepare for my home cleaning?
For a normal cleaning we appreciate if the clients provides a clutter-free home. You will receive the most value for your money if you put away clothes, toys, mail, dishes and other “clutter” so that we can immediately get to work.
+ Who will be cleaning my home?
The owner of Pelican Cleaning Services along with a professional team member will be cleaning your home each and every time.
+ Do I need to provide house cleaning equipment and products?
We provide all cleaning equipment and products. We have found it to be most sanitary to use your vacuum cleaner in your individual home. If you do not have a vacuum clean we are equipped with one. If you have a special cleaning product that you would like for us to use, please be sure to discuss this with us in advance.
+ Will all my cleaning visits cost the same amount?
The first house cleaning visit usually costs more than subsequent visits. Usually, it takes extra time to get the home up to "Pelican" cleaning standards. Once this initial visit has occurred, your home can be maintained with regular visits. We will give you an estimate for both the initial cleaning and the regular house cleanings up front when we come out for your free in-home estimate and walk-through. Once the initial house cleaning is finished, we will confirm your regular cleaning price and schedule.
